How can you help?
Time. Money. Stuff.
When we join the United Methodist Church we declare our vow to faithfully participate in its ministries by our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our service, and our witness. There are many ways to be involved in Northridge United Methodist Church by giving of your time, your money and your stuff. NUMC is committed to working in the local and global community to change the world and spread the word of Christ. How can you help? What will you give today?

Mission of the Month
Christmas Children's Mart - Teaching disadvantaged children the joy of giving. Each December NUMC and NVCS team up to provide children the opportunity to learn how to give, by providing a "shopping" experience for the children to choose presents for their parents.
- Presents for dads and grandpas - flashlights, socks, tools, candy, etc
- Presents for moms and grandmas - scarves, jewelry, knick knacks, etc
- gift wrap, tape, ribbon etc
Collection will continue through mid December.
Food Pantry Donations - Non-perishable food is collected monthly and donated to the food pantry at North Valley Caring Services.
Bring food donations to the church the first Sunday of every month.
Snack Sacks - The children help support this program by decorating and stuffing the sacks each month. Sacks are put together to be handed out to the homeless who need a little help. Next time you go shopping add a couple of extra items to your list for the Snack Sacks:
- Bottled Water (12-16 oz size)
- Vienna sausages or canned tuna
- Applesauce or fruit cups
- Pudding cups
- Crackers with cheese or peanut butter
- Granola bars/cookies
- Hard candies (Jolly Rancher/ Peppermints)
All items should be in individual servings.
