Come to Northridge United Methodist Church at Noon on the first Thursday of every month and be treated to a free concert by some of the most talented musicians in Southern California.

Brandon Park
Brandon Park is a distinguished, classically trained clarinetist celebrated for his expressive performances and cross-genre versatility. A 2026 YoungArts Winner in Classical Music, Brandon has spent nearly a decade mastering a repertoire that spans classical masterworks and jazz. His technical excellence is highlighted by a First Prize in the SYMF Concerto Competition and his tenure as Principal Clarinet for the California All-State Honor Band Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra.
Brandon has held leadership chairs in elite ensembles, including the Colburn Youth Orchestra and the CSUN Youth Philharmonic. Beyond the orchestral stage, he is a dedicated community leader as the founder and co-president of the Project Peace by Piece Ensemble and served as Drum Major for his high school program. Currently studying under Steve Hongsik Park and Boris Allakhverdyan, Brandon will continue his studies at Stanford University, where he aims to bridge his passions for medicine and musical collaboration.
Steve Park
Steve Hongsik Park, a clarinetist from South Korea, is a chamber musician and music educator based in Los Angeles. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Los Angeles Clarinet Choir, where he currently serves as Principal Bass Clarinet and Vice President, performing at various venues across Southern California. He has been featured at the Claremont Clarinet Festival and as an invited artist at the International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest in 2017, 2019 and 2025. Steve is a clarinet coach at California State University, Northridge, and works part-time with the YoungArts National Foundation. He also founded two nonprofit organizations focused on chamber music. He holds a B.A. in clarinet performance and music education from California Lutheran University, a B.A. in integrative biology and public health from UC Berkeley, and an M.P.A. from Cal State East Bay. Steve is currently a scientist at Fujifilm Biotechnologies California.
Aaron Miller
Pianist Aaron Miller made his concerto debut with the Santa Cruz Symphony at the age of twelve. He has also performed with the California Youth Symphony, the Idyllwild International Chamber Orchestra, and the Cabrillo Music Festival Orchestra. Aaron received first prizes at the Aspen Music Festival and Harvard Mozart Society Orchestra concerto competitions and was a YoungArts finalist. He won the Aloha International Piano Festival Amateur Competition in 2013 and was a semifinalist in three recent amateur competitions: Cliburn in Fort Worth, Texas (2022); Chopin in Warsaw, Poland (2024); and San Diego (2025). He was further recognized by the jury of the Chopin amateur competition as “best contestant who did not qualify for the final.” Aaron is a Fulbright Scholar who received advanced degrees from Harvard and the University of Hawaii in history, East Asian studies, and Korean language. He served as classical music director of WHRB (Harvard Radio), where he produced several programs including a ten-day broadcast of the complete works of J. S. Bach that the Boston Globe praised as “a considerable work of scholarship.” He is currently Deputy Director of the UCLA Asia Pacific Center.
